Founded in 2014 by Michael and Erin Burns, Active Training Consultants has come a long way from its beginnings. When Michael first started, he witnessed first-hand coworkers being injured on the job because safety was looked at as reactive instead of proactive. His passion for safety drove them to start their own business.

Active Training Consultants is a resource of highly trained safety professionals who serve the manufacturing, healthcare, EMS, and construction communities. We are dedicated to reducing injuries, accidents, and environmental impact, and ensuring OSHA compliance while ensuring that we remain ethical in all of our business and personal practices. We achieve this by providing high-quality customized training, comprehensive workplace evaluation, job hazard analysis, and workplace safety audits and inspections. Our goal is for every person, every day, to go home safely to their families.
